Recently someone asked me whether I was ready for the next long ride. I hesitated before I replied.
No, mentally I am not as ready as two years ago. That worries me.
Yesterday morning as I woke up I thought about Northern Kenya, about that hard ride that lies ahead, and I felt fear. For the first time. It is not bad. Perhaps my mental preparation will start in all earnest now.
I look forward to getting my KLR back from its service at CyTech.
