The show must go on

(English below)

Ek was gister baie wild in my frustrasie en irritasie.

Keat was nou hier.

Noord-Kenia …

Yesterday I was wild in my frustration and irritation. I then realised that the problem was actually small. There are people with bigger daily worries than two bikes that were left behind. I though about those children with the facial deformities. The reason for this long tour is bigger than the present problems.

The tour goes on. On Monday I will know whether I am going to ride south or north. The aim is still to help 15 children to get those operations.

Keat was here just now. He pulled out and is still flying to Germany tomorrow night. He has appointments in Europe that he cannot change or cancel.

I have to re-start the mental preparation. Again the is an U-turn. First it was Russia, and then the visa were declined. Then going south, then the bikes, now it is going to be a solo trip (again). The more obstacles there are, the greater the experience will be. It is going to be harder as well. I know what is lying ahead. Northen Kenya …

Haai Lodie. Sterkte man.

    Hi Lodie,

I understand your frustration, unfortunately nobody is accountable ?

This is typical of our country, nobody cares, a civilization is measured by it’s compassion, of which darkest africa has little !

They want a job, but not to work !

For a person like yourself, this is a small challenge.

“Sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck “- Dalai Lama

Look forward, put your shoulder to the wheel & be positive.

    regards
    Andrew

Groete Lizelle
