Jy moet fokus my kind, jy moet fokus

Vanoggend draai die liedjie van Pieter Koen (is ek reg?) “Die drie susters van Drie Susters” in my kop. Ek werk hard om nou te fokus op wat gedoen moet word, om die rustigheid te kry om ‘glad’ oor Afrika te ry.

En terwyl ek dit skryf, kom ‘n epos uit Duitsland aan. Hulle gaan my motorfiets Duitsland toe vlieg!!!!!!!!! Ek juig!!!! Die beplande toer gaan dus aan en ek gaan van Duitsland deur Europa, Israel terug Kaapstad toe ry!!!!!!!!!

‘n Volgende epos moet volg met die datums en tye. Dit gaan egter in die oorspronklike tydsbeplanning pas en ek gaan nog die vragskip oor die Middelandse See kan haal!!!!

My hart, kop en gees is nou reg.

Nou kan ek verder gaan met wat ek julle eintlik wou vertel het. In Stellenbosch woon ‘n dame, Lizelle Lötter. Sy is ‘n beroepsfotograaf. Haar foto’s is sielsfoto’s.  Gaan kyk by http://www.lizellelotter.co.za

Lizelle het verlede jaar vanaf Khartoem tot in Kaïro saam gereis. Sy het nou foto’s gestuur wat ek vir die mense langs die pad moet afgee waar ons toe oornag het. Kyk na die twee foto’s hier onder. Is dit nie skitterend nie? Ek vertel julle later ‘n baie spesiale ervaring wat ons gehad met met ‘n oupatjie wat sedert my eerste motorfietstoer oorlede is.

I try to focus but since starting with the post I received so exciting news I cannot sit stil!!! LTU is going to fly my bike from Windhoek to Germany!!!!

That means, the original tour is on! I will still start in Germany and ride through Europe, catch the cargo ship in time, Israel and then AFRICA!!! So, Cape Town, here I come!!!! See you in August, God will, with Namaqualand covered in flowers!!!

I will leave for Germany within the next few days. I am waiting on the confirmation email with all the detail and then I am off to Germany!!!

The actual reason for this post is to tell you about a lady from Stellenbosch, Lizelle Lötter. She is a photographer. Have a look at her website http://www.lizellelotter.co.za

Last year she travelled with from Khartoum to Cairo. She sent me a huge pack of photographs that I have to give to the people with whom we stayed in the desert. The photographs is stunning! Later, when I am in Sudan, I will tell you a story about a grandfather that I met on my first motorcycle tour and since then passed away.
