Glimlag, en fokus

(English below)

Drie dinge het my vandag in Duitsland laat glimlag.

Most of all, smiles are used during moments too beautiful to speak”.

Drie nie-verwante gebeurtenisse het my dag sommer net mooi gemaak.

(English)

Three moments brought a broad smile to my face today.

1. One of our ex-students in our exchange programme wrote:  “Most of all, smiles are used during moments too beautiful to speak”.

2. I had a call this morning from Munich. The KLR is on its way to Germany and should arrive in Munich half past nine tonight.

3. All vehicles in Europe must by law be insured. Try and find a place who is prepared to insure a bike for a short period of time without the owner / rider having a registered address in Germany. It is difficult. I managed to get that insurance this morning in Hanau.

I am smiling due to three unrelated events that meant so much to me.
