Ek moes laatmiddag Mokopane (Potgietersrus) toe ry.
Waar gaan ons twee volgende jaar sonsondergange beleef?
Nou vir die R 100 000.00!

Yesterday we received a big donation from Hoërskool Linden in Johannesburg. One of our ex-participants, Anéy de Villiers, was the organizer of the whole project at the school. Anéy, to you and your fellow learners a big “shukran” from all of us!
That donation brought us close to the magical R 100 000.00 mark. Only R 1 580.00 seperates us from that mark. Where are we going to stop on the night of the 18th? I started dreaming of 21 children …
Yesterday I experienced again the joy of riding a motorcycle in Africa. Late afternoon I had to go to Mokopane (Potgietersrus). After finishing my business it was just before dusk. Starting the ride back home the late afternoon sunshine was splashes of gold on the bush. To the right of the road I saw a big herd of blesbuck antelopes, later a single ostrich, and then on my left at least 15 – 20 wildebeest (gnus) standing at a waterhole in the bush. Fourteen kilometer from Naboom, while riding down a hill, a red-as-you-can-get sun disappeared behind the bush and the Waterberg.
I experienced on the KLR many wonderful sunsets. The sunset last night was by far one of the most beautiful.
I wonder whether the sunsets in Siberia are as beautiful?
Now for the R 100 000.00 mark!
Ek het iewers gelees dat ‘n man gese het dat: ” Maybe that is the way God intended us to enjoy the beauty He created” en,
“Only a biker knows why a dog sticks his head out of a car window.” en,
People ask us why we ride a motorcycle?
For those who have experienced the joy, no explanation is necessary; for those who have not, no explanation is possible.
