A few minutes ago I got this email now from Danna Weiss, the Interim Executive Director of Operation Smile South Africa. (Now I am breathless after typing this title 🙂 )

We are so overwhelmed by the constant support that you and FSA Youth Exchange gives to the children that Operation Smile works with. We received your donation yesterday and cannot thank you enough for advocating for our mission and making it your own.

We are also putting the story on our Facebook and Op Smile SA websites and you should definitely put it on your blog. It says so much about what one man can do and will hopefully inspire some of our youth volunteers. I also wanted to let you know that with your donation, FSA Youth Exchange is now a Silver Sponsor. We put FSA Youth Exchange on our team t-shirt for the upcoming Mt. Frere mission (23-28 November) to show everyone how proud we are of this partnership. I have attached the schedule to this email in case you might like to visit the mission or participate in any way. The Chairman of our Board will be taking a group of guests from Durban for a long day trip (it’s about 4 hours drive) and we would be thrilled if you wanted to join.
I’ll be sending you an official thank you letter soon which will reflect the new donation in the total gift you and FSA have made this year and you can use it to show everyone who supported you that 100% of the donations went straight to creating new smiles.
