Eeton and I arrived at Lake Malawi late Saturday afternoon. The following photographs tell a bit more about our ride from South Africa to Malawi.

Not from from Naboomspruit we saw this sable antelope next to the road.

A shot from the camera while riding under a wide African sky.

As we are the slowest two KLR riders in South Africa we often stopped to have a chat.

I became so sleepy after crossing the border into Botswana we had to stop and rest for a few minutes.

It is now season for the mopane worms. Next to the road people were selling this important source of protein.

I had my chance of eating mopane worms. Here Eeton is holding a worm like a cigar before eating it.

We camped in Francistown the first night.
