Operation Smile is active in more African countries than only South Africa. When one hears stories of 11 year old girls walking more than 42 km alone in the hope to get helped, then one realizes how privileged we are to help.
These wonderful ladies keep the wheels of Operation Smile (South Africa) rolling.
This morning I had the privilege of meeting the new staff / management of Operation Smile in Cape Town, South Africa. Again I realized how many wonderful people there are on this planet Earth, spending their lives to help those who cannot help themselves.
I trust that FSA Youth Exchange and I with my wonderful colleagues will again be in the situation to help Operation Smiles to raise funds for their missions. We will know soon.
