Last week I was privileged to travel to the Lowveld. That was just the right medicine I needed for my long trip in two months’ time. So often I found myself wondering if I would camp somewhere on the Russian plains would I miss the mopanie bush of the Lowveld? If I would make a small fire to make some tea would I think back south to so many wood fires in our townships and at braais where people would make their pap and marog, or braai their steak and chops?
Now you can see my spirit starts drifting.
I want to share some panorame photographs of last week with you. Click on it to have it full size. Scroll to the left or right and enjoy it.
I want to share these photographs especially with all the blog subscribers in Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, Egypt, Europe, Switzerland (still not part of Europe), the USA, Canada and the UK. Colourful regards from home in the south!

The Three Rondavels on the right and the Blyde River. Can you still remember why they called this river the Blyde River and the other one Treur River?

One crosses this beautiful lake, surrounded by pine and bloekom plantations, on the road between Graskop and Bushbuck Ridge.
And my two favourites, although nearly the same,
Absoluut P R A G T I G. ! ! !
Only these wonderful creatures can enhance nature’s beauty…
