Today one word fills my spirit and mind: Gratitude.
Gratitude because it rains in the bushveld. Soft rains. No rains that destroy. We needed it so badly.
Gratitude because we reached our target of R 80 000.00 for Operation Smile. Today the amount stands at R 82 500.00 which means that 15 children can undergo the recontructive facial surgery.
Gratitude because there are so many people in this country whose lives are still governed by LOVE.
With the two rides in 2010 and now 40 children were helped to a new life. We at FSA Youth Exchange are privileged to be associated with the angels of Operation Smile.
To you, all dear donors, thank you!
“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.” – Melody Beattie
Ongelooflik, well done!!!!!!!!!
Lodie, wat ‘n wonderlike bydrae om van die wêreld ‘n beter plek te maak! Dankie vir jou!
A deeply emotional moment to think that these children were daily in people’s minds and hearts. Prayers leapfrogged each other in the Universe on the way to God, Angels, angels and motorcyclist on their behalf. They were the source of love, joy and friendship to many people! Will they know that? Bless you!
