Wonderful people came into my life and encouraged me with their caring this week. I know this is a blog about riding to faraway places, but I need to share the adrenaline of all the exciting encounters with you. I know you will understand when I say “Four days to go!”
Sara and Liesbet, Japie and Klaas came to me last Sunday, knelt down and offered four prayers to the heaven sincere as only they could do it.
Three very special visitors: Willie Swart, Ewald Schmidt aka Bileam se Donkie (our first meeting in person!) and Herbert Hattingh all the way from Cairo!!
Tanja Fischer, friend and ICU nurse, who took care of me in Naboomspruit for nearly two weeks. Tanja, thank you a billion times!
The next blog post will be filled with excitement, no matter what the outcome of the scans will be. Till end of next week!

Soos met vele ander wat jou ken, bly jy ook in ons gedagtes (Anglisisties?). Soos jy ook al weet, weet God presies wat Hy in gedagte het vir jou. En dít is goed (“For I know the plans I have for you; plans to prosper you and nor to harm you; plans to prepare a future for you.” Jer. 29:11).
Ek sien uit daarna om vroeg volgende jaar ‘n beker koffie te kan geniet saam met jou daar in die Bosveld.
