We are over R 15 000.00 with the Magrietjie fundraising. Thank you a thousand times! I know that we will be over R 16 000 before the end of the week.
Donations received before October:
On Saturday a friend, also on a KLR, and I decided to take our KLR’s for a short ride. We decided as soon as I would take some hammering we would turn back.
More than 330 km later we stopped at my home. What a ride! It felt as if the KLR just couldn’t stop! And I didn’t even have a sore bum after the ride 🙂

On days when I battle to eat I drink a lot of mageu, a drink without alcohol and with a high nutritional value. Especially the African people (and I) love mageu. I drank two x 500 ml during the ride. It gave woema!!
I had a surprise visit today. Another ex-school mate, Annemarie, living with hubby Martin in Australia the last two decades, visited me today.
Thanks for the visit Martin and Annemarie. It was great seeing you again!
