Day 3 took us in a north-westerly direction from Nata Lodge to Kasane on the banks of the beautiful Chobe River.
The distance was a mere 340 km with fuel only at Pandamatenga. We skipped re-fuelling at Pandamatenga and cruised into Kasane with each KLR still having more than 7 litres in the tank. The big fuel tank stays one of the strong points of the bike.

I looked forward to a bream from the Chobe. I wasn’t disappointed.

One needs more often the opportunity to sit at a river and meditate.
