Today, six years ago, I reached Cairo.
Yesterday a friend of many years passed away. She was diagnosed with cancer only four months ago. Rest in peace dear Magda.

Ek veg so aan ‘n paar fronte: tweemaal chemo daagliks, om te eet, en dan my selfopgelegde kop-sterk-hou deurdat ek daagliks vir ten minste sewe uur lank kantoor toe gaan vir boekhou en ander kantoorwerk.
Saans ry ek huis toe so moeg maar so bitterlik bly vor die voorreg om te kan werk. Ja ek skeep doe groep af, maar nog net ‘n rukkie!

Hi Lodie. Sterkte. My friend Authelia passed away on the 2nd May 2014 due to cancer. I am going to LImpopo this weekend to bury her. i am devastated that i did not fully comprehend last time i spoke to her and did not make time to go and visit her. May their souls rest in peace.
